1. Agreement to Terms

By installing or using Renaim ("the Application," "our App," or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Renaim is a Shopify application that enables merchants to bulk rename product image files using configurable naming patterns. The Service integrates with your Shopify store to access and modify product image filenames.

3. Account Requirements

To use Renaim, you must:

  • Have a valid Shopify store
  • Be authorized to install applications on behalf of the store
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start your trial.

Subscription Terms

After the free trial, continued use requires a paid subscription of $9 USD per month. Billing is processed through Shopify's billing system and will appear on your Shopify invoice.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify admin panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Use of Service

Permitted Use

You may use Renaim to:

  • Rename product images in your Shopify store
  • Create and save naming patterns
  • Preview changes before applying them

Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to bypass any security measures
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service

6. Data and Image Modifications

Important Warning

Image renaming is a destructive and permanent process. Once you rename images using Renaim, the original filenames cannot be recovered through our Service. We strongly recommend backing up your product images before performing bulk rename operations.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Reviewing preview results before applying changes
  • Maintaining backups of your original images
  • Ensuring renamed files meet your requirements
  • Any consequences resulting from renamed images

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • All features will work with all Shopify themes or configurations
  • Image renaming will not affect theme functionality
  • Variant image associations will be preserved in all cases

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL RENAIM, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We are specifically not liable for:

  • Loss of original image filenames
  • Broken image links resulting from renaming
  • Theme display issues after renaming
  • Loss of variant image associations
  • Any data loss or corruption

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Renaim and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any content or data you process through the Service

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Renaim and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

11. API and Third-Party Services

Renaim relies on Shopify's APIs and infrastructure. We are not responsible for any changes, limitations, or discontinuation of Shopify services that may affect our application's functionality.

Due to Shopify API limitations, certain features (such as variant image associations) may be affected when renaming images. We will update our Service as new API capabilities become available.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the application. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Upon your request

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions that should survive termination shall remain in effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Renaim regarding the use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements.

BY USING RENAIM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
